Welcome to the Kings Head Great Cornard!

The Kings Head, located on Bures Road in Suffolk’s Great Cornard, is a welcoming and inclusive local pub.

The bar supplies a wide range of draught lagers, ciders and ales; as well as a variety of red, white and rosé wines; many premium and flavoured gins, rums, vodkas and whiskeys – and even cocktails! A large selection of soft drinks are available both on tap and as individual bottles, as well as other non-alcoholic options. Limited time seasonal beverages are also on offer regularly, including mulled wines & ciders in the winter, and slushies in those summer months.

As well as this, we serve delicious food on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, as well as premium roast dinners on Sundays. Our in-house chefs lovingly serve an extensive collection of meals and light-bites, and the menus can be located here.

Throughout the bar area and garden, wide-screen televisions show all major sporting events, including those on Sky and TNT (please see our Facebook page for information on what we are showing); and the jukebox is always in use! As well as this, we boast a dartboard (feel free to bring your own darts, but we have some you’re welcome to borrow), as well as a pool table and multiple fruit machines.

Kings Head Great Cornard has live music from local musicians on Saturday nights, and dancing is encouraged! We also host events such as Quiz Nights and Pool Competitions. Please see what’s on to check what we have coming up – and we look forward to seeing you there!

The Kings Head Great Cornard is both family and dog friendly, providing high chairs for little ones as well as a water bowl (and sometimes some tasty treats!) for our four-legged friends. We have an array of tables out the front for those wishing to enjoy the sun, and a beer garden out the back with a sheltered section in case it rains! Our large car park is free to use for customers.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly team on 01787 464621.

Great pub, how they used to be. Reasonable prices on well served beers, no huge foaming heads or short measures. Haven't had a bad pint yet. Lovely in the winter as they have a log fire roaring and great in the summer as they have a lovely outdoor area, only a 15 minute walk from the train station along the riverside too. Great rotation of cask ales and always friendly service. Can't speak for the food as haven't actually tried the Sunday roast yet. Clean, tidy and well presented throughout, pool table, dart board and jukebox. Live music isn't my thing but most weekends they have bands in so if you're about that check it out.
